We met as freshmen in high school through mutual friends—Kaira at Lyons Township and Nick at Fenwick—and spent years in the same circle. We enjoyed sharing friendships and looking back, it is easy to see how much we enjoyed each other.

As our friends watched us gravitate toward each other at get-togethers over the years, they all seemed to notice what we hadn't yet: we just fit. After a little encouragement from those friends, realizing they might be onto something (and a few unsuccessful attempts to coordinate), we made dinner and drinks happen—just the two of us.

What began as an easy friendship became a loving, lasting relationship, and we're forever grateful to the people who knew us best for helping bring us together—and to each other for the incredible love we've found.

When it came time to choose where we'd get married, Lake Geneva felt like the perfect place to begin this next chapter. We've shared so many wonderful memories here—weekends with family and friends, long days on the lake, and the simple joy of slowing down. Having spent much of our summers on lakes from Illinois to the northern tip of Wisconsin, we both feel most at home by the water. It felt like the most natural setting to tie the knot (pun intended).

We can't wait to celebrate this unforgettable weekend together, share one of our favorite places with all of you, and make new memories in it with the people we love most.
